VEGAN CASHEW CHEDDAR CHEESE

inspired by Loving It Vegan-Sliceable Cashew Cheese


Sliceable cheddar

Cheddar, with jackfruit pulled not-pork and
Bubbies sauerkraut, whole wheat roll.

1 CUP RAW CASHEW PIECES
1/3 CUP WATER
5 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/4 cup tahini
1 carrot
1 tbsp salt
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp mustard
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 cup water, 1-2 TBSP AGAR AGAR POWDER

  • Blend first set of ingredients in food processor
    Bring 1 cup water and agar agar to a boil, let boil for 1 full minute
    Add to the previous mixture and blend.
    Quickly pour into small loaf pan, coated with coconut oil and smoked paprika, and refrigerate to set.
