Hard Candy from Tea

  • Make tea from 2 cups herb of choice and four cups boiling water.
  • Steep up to 30 minutes.
  • Strain, add 6 cups sugar, and 1.5 tsp vegan butter.
  • Bring to boil over medium heat.
  • Cook until hardens when small amount dropped in cold water, 300 degrees.
  • Pour into buttered shallow pan. Score into squares before it sets.
  • Wrap the hardened pieces individually and store in airtight container.
