Chocolate Hummus no-bake Cookies
(with a kick!)


Delicious at room temp as a dip, or refrigerated, for more of a "spread" consistency.
Prior to adding oatmeal, the entire recipe makes about a quart, and the total nutrition info is:

  • 1 can black beans (or 1 dry cup boiled)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa or carob powder
  • 1/2 cup agave
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, allspice (Can skip spices if desired.)


  • 1 cup whole oats
  • optional vegan chocolate chips or add-ins of choice*
    *I really like crystalized ginger nibs, or nuts
  • Scoop onto wax paper with a tablespoon.
    Refrigerate to harden.
