Salsa Fusion Recipe

And a little bit of my own. :)
  • 1 QT CANNED TOMATOES
  • 1/4 CUP (?) MOTHER'S HELL SALSA
    (a salsa made all of hot peppers my mother made,
    and nobody could eat. Just use extremely hot peppers.
  • 1 LARGE RED ONION
  • GARLIC (to taste. I use a whole head.)
  • 1/4 CUP AGAVE
  • 1 tablespoon each OREGANO, SMOKED PAPRIKA, CUMIN
  • 2 tablespoon LIME JUICE
  • 1/3 CUP CILANTRO
  • I use this recipe for canning.

    Nutrition Info per 1/2 cup:
    Calories: 69 | Carb: 17 | Protein: 2 | Fat: 1 | Sodium: 288 | Fiber: 2




    VARIATION: Green Tomato Salsa Verde

  • 10 cups green cherry tomatoes
  • 6-8 cups chopped onion, to taste
  • 2 heads garlic cloves
  • 2 cups chopped cilantro, or to taste
  • 3 TB kosher or flaked sea salt
  • 1.5 cups lime juice
  • Hot peppers to taste.
    (I used 4 habanero, possibly carolina reaper variety
    And it was EXTREMELY hot. I will use less next time.)
